Olivia Palermo's Leather Shorts Look

Olivia Palermo was out for the New York screening of There Be Dragons on May 5.

Olivia was kinda subdued in dark shades but added some sophisticated color with her grassy-colored satin pumps.

The other accessory to her black leather Tibi shorts, and grey shirt outfit was a Club Monaco clutch bag.

Olivia's shorts cost a v. pricey $585 at singer22.com; an more affordable alternative is available though with the Jou Jou Pleather Shorts from macys.com.

Even More Met 2011 Gala Looks

Some final looks from the Met Gala; all these extras and there are still some outfits that didn't even get a mention.

Doutzen Kroes took up half the red carpet but almost blended in to it in her Giambattista Valli design.

Eva Mendes made what feels like her first red carpet appearance in ages and covered up her curves in a blue one-shouldered design from Stella McCartney.

Russian models Natasha Poly and Sasha Pivovarova flanked Alexander Wang, posing on arrival.

Natasha looked smoking hot with her sultry eye make-up and scintillating low-backed dress from the designer.

Sasha was futuristic sexy (in a Fifth Element kinda way) in her silver Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress - the Spring/Summer 2011 dress costs $2,500 at shopbop.com.

Christina Ricci was stunning in her teeny-waisted Zac Posen gown.
